FrontRunner has the latest Fall/Winter lines of running apparel.  Fall/Winter apparel from all the best manufacturers, including Asics, Brooks, Nike, North Face, Pearl and Sugoi to name a few are ready for your use.  Stay warm, dry and comfortable while looking good.  Check out these great new lines at FrontRunner today.    Good Luck Runners and Walkers  For all those participating in one of the many half or full marathons this Fall, we hope that you have a great run or walk.  You should be proud of your diligence in training and thankful to all your family and friends who have help make it possible.  Enjoy the day for all its challenges.   Have fun!    Several members of the FrontRunner staff will be taking on the challenge of the Columbus Marathon and Half-Marathon on October 18th.  Still more of our staff will be supporting the Columbus Marathon in different ways.  Once again this year our very own Karl Gruber will be at the finish line announcing everyone finish as they cross the line.  Several other FrontRunner staff members will be in Grandview (on 1st Avenue near Northwest Blvd.) participating in one of the Columbus Marathon Cheer Zones.  All our welcome to join our fun.        Volunteers Needed for the Columbus Marathon A lot of things have to go right to run or walk a marathon or half-marathon.  Nobody can have the race of their life without the support from the Volunteers who dedicate their day to the welfare of the runners and walkers who take on the challenge.  Volunteers keep the roads clear of traffic, keep the athletes hydrated, and cheer them on through those tough stretches.  From the time a "want-to-be" marathoner picks up their race packet, to the moment they receive their finishers medal, Volunteers are there to make it all happen.  If you are not taking on the challenge of going 26.2 or 13.1 miles on Sunday October 18th, take on an even greater challenge. The Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon are looking for Volunteers.  If you are interested, please click here for more information.   Now Available @ FrontRunner: Clydesdale Running Company Gear  Clydesdale Running Company was established to provide taller and/or larger fitness athletes a source for technical apparel.  Clydesdale Running Company specializes in XL - XXXL sized items for men, and FrontRunner has some of these items in-stock.  Click here to learn more about Clydesdale Running Company products.   Route 315 Construction Completed Yeah!!!  Construction on SR315 between I-670 to North Broadway to repair several bridges and the pavement is complete.  All lanes and exits have been re-opened.  Thank you ODOT for completing the job a couple weeks early.       FrontRunner Going Green, Saving You Money! Eagle Spirit 5 Mile Run and 1.5 Mile Walk - Saturday October 3rd, 2009 Event Date/Time: Saturday October 3rd @ 8am Event Location: Grove City Christian School Event Information: Come join us at Grove City Christian School for the 3rd annual Eagle Spirit Run & Walk, a 5 mile road race to benefit the GCCS library. This year will also offer a Fun Run/Walk so you can now support GCCS by participating in shorter distance event. It’s also a great way to “earn” your dessert before that big holiday feast. All runners and walkers receive a great looking long sleeve TECHNICAL shirt with logo, a fantastic restaurant certificate compliments of the Buca di Beppo Restaurants, EAS energy bar, and great finish line food and beverages.   First 1000 male and 1000 female finishers in the 5 miler, and the first 100 walkers in the two mile “Walk and Talk” will be awarded a fresh baked Kroger pumpkin pie.  Packet pickup for this event will be at FrontRunner beginning November 15th.  For more information on this event, please click here.   2009 Jingle Bell Run/Walk - Saturday December 5th @ 10am Event Date/Time: Saturday December 5th @10am Event Location: Columbus Convention Center Event Information: The Arthritis Foundation is the leading health organization addressing the needs of some 46 million Americans living with arthritis, one of the nation's leading causes of disability.  The Jingle Bell Run/Walk is a fun, festive event for the whole family! Put on your reindeer antlers and your running shoes and join us for some holiday cheer.
